A girl named Sam

It happened before I knew it even hapened; I just asked a girl out on a date, a real date. I'm not foriegn to this, but this was foreign with a foreigner. Usually, I know the girl, I scope and see if we are compatibale. I weigh the pros' and cons' before even making advances, but this was different. Just like ever type of college converstation it starts with a "hello" and a "sooo...whats your major?" and if its really adventurous it will contain "why did you choose this college and how did you end up in Hawaii?" Me and the girl named Sam had all three.She said "hi" and "I.S.C. major" and "I wasn't planning on going to college here, but it just happened so fast, like really fast, but yeah I been here for two years now and I love it here."I continued with something out of the ordinary, I answered her question."So you like to go the Budhist temple for fun?""Yeah, I love it, its my favorite place to go in Hawaii. The temple is an exact repelca of the temple in Japan.""Really? Wow, I never have been!""Really?""Yeah, really?""Hey we should go sometime.""Ok, I work on Tuesday's and Thursday's but I'm free on the weekends, like Saturday.""Awesome, I can't this Saturday, but I can next Saturday.""Ok."I walked back over to my part of the customer service desk, where I was selling sunscreen, hats, water, and chocolate covered macadamia nuts. I stood there for a few minutes looking back at her, she was giving me a new look, I don't what the look was, but then it dawned on me, I just asked a girl out on a date and I don't even know who she is besides the fact that her name is Sam, like mine and what her major was. I was quick with thinking, I stopped making eye contact for the rest of the time until 1:00 pm where I then moved my little shop of chocolate covered mac nuts, water, hats, and sunscreen to the other part of the theme park.I finished closing up my shop around 3:30 pm and I walked back to the customer service desk to just clear out the details, and I walked up just fumbling with words but it was clear enough to get her phone number and for her to state the she was "looking forward to going to the Valley of the Temples with me" I got the number from a girl named Sam.
